Kelly Lytle Hernández, Interim Director for the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies and Professor of History and African American Studies, will be sharing new latest book City of Inmates with us at a book talk and signing on October 24th. She will be joined by Professor Gaye Theresa Johnson (Departments of Chicana/o Studies and African American Studies) and Manuel Criollo (The Labor/Community Strategy Center).

Fall Forum and Reception 2017 on November 2nd

You're invited to the Institute of American Cultures (IAC) Fall Forum and Reception! Join us in honoring the 2017-2018 IAC Visiting Scholars,Graduate & Predoctoral Fellows, and Research Grant Awardees! On Thursday, November 2nd, join us at the James West Alumni Center to honor this year's awardees and to learn more about the research and scholarship that the IAC and the four ethnic studies research centers are supporting.
